Make Your Own Fashion Headbands
“I received a call this afternoon from one of the producers at Good Things Utah. She was wondering when I’d like to demonstrate how to make the headband I was wearing and asked when I’d like to do it. I asked her when SHE’D like me and guess what she said? Tomorrow!”

How to Make Butterflies with the Cuttlebug Machine
“I have admired the scrapbooker ‘Shimelle’ for as long as I’ve been scrapbooking. She’s a designer for the magazine I subscribe to called ‘Scrapbook Inspirations’. Well, she had a fab blog party a little while ago and recently had a post on her blog with a LO called “B is for butterfly” (it was also featured in the magazine). Well, I love a bit of hybrid scrapping and nabbed Shimelle’s PSE template and made my own LO called “B is for beautiful” about my daughter.”

How To: Antique/Vintage Scrapbook Kit
“As I have a love of all things worn and shabby, I tend to think of ‘re-inventing’ in terms of antique/vintage materials. But . . . I am a scrapbooker (and therefore a hoarder) just like many of you and in preparation for this tutorial, I started to think of ‘recycling’ in terms of scrapbook material specifically. My goal was to come up with a project that used a product I had laying around that was either out of style, damaged, or as in this case, out of date! Check it out below and hopefully it will inspire you to dig deep into your stash and come up with new ideas for the ‘unusable.’”

Gift Tag Tutorial
“So, I came up with this super fast and fun gift tag tutorial. It requires a couple sizes of paper punches, but they can be any shape you want (and really, you could do this with scissors & patience, too.) The hardest part here is deciding which shape and size punches look best together. I was slightly limited by the fact that I only own a handful, but I still think I picked the best coordinating pair.”

How To: Leftover Minibook
“So, here is a little leftover book I’ve started creating this month with my kit leftovers. And the thing I really like about it is, that as I continue to go through my kit, I can continue to pop in some more little pages. It’s so fun!”
